Bayview Hunters Point Foundation is seeking dedicated and compassionate individuals to join our team. We are currently seeking a Director of Quality Assurance and Compliance.

Who We Are:

Bayview Hunters Point Foundation has been at the heart of social justice for over 50 years, providing support services for predominantly low-income people of color in the Bayview and throughout San Francisco.

Our mission is to build a community that is empowered, clean, safe, and healthy. We are focused on multidisciplinary, community-informed support for our clients, addressing the root causes of unemployment and homelessness, and advocating for the basic human rights of food, health, economic and housing security.

Today, BVHPF’s nearly 200 employees serve over 5,000 disadvantaged clients each year. Our programs include:

  • Mental health counseling for youth and adults
  • School-based mental health services
  • Substance abuse counseling and methadone treatment
  • Family transitional and supportive housing
  • Rapid rehousing and flex pool housing programs
  • Case management services at several homeless and housing programs
  • Bayview SAFE Navigation Center

Position Overview:

The Director of Quality Assurance will serve as the agency’s Compliance Officer and will lead all quality assurance and compliance functions for Bayview Hunters Point Foundation. This leadership position will assure that all programs operate with integrity and effectiveness, and that all contractual, regulatory, clinical, and ethical standards are achieved. The Director of Quality Assurance will lead preparation for external program audits and will conduct regular internal audits. This position will lead a QA staff of 2-3 professionals, and will report directly to the Chief Mission Officer/Deputy Director.

Required Duties:

  • Conduct and ensure compliance with all contractual, regulatory, and ethical obligations of the agency
  • Lead preparation and execution of all external and internal program audit activities
  • Maintain the highest standards of ethical and effective mission delivery
  • Supervise a staff of 2-3 QA professionals
  • Other duties as assigned by the Chief Mission Officer


  • At least five years demonstrated successful experience as a Quality Assurance Director or equivalent in a nonprofit, government, or other clinical setting
  • Clinical licensure preferred but not required
  • Demonstrated planning and organizational skills
  • Ability to lead and coach in a collaborative team environment
  • Superb written and oral communication skills
  • Commitment to community service and the mission of Bayview Hunters Point Foundation

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $90,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year
