Job Description


Warm Beach Senior Community, located in South Stanwood, is a non-profit ministry of the Free Methodist Church with 56 years of service to the elderly and the community. We offer competitive wages, and a great team environment. We are looking for a Director of Facilities to join our team!

Under the direction of the Executive Director, the Director of Facility Services (FS) will be responsible for leading and managing the full range of operational responsibilities for all FS service areas, including Security, Maintenance, Housekeeping, Custodial, Laundry and Grounds to support the mission of Warm Beach Senior Community. This position is responsible for prioritizing, planning, coordinating, assigning, and completion of grounds, maintenance, and repair projects. This position is responsible for meeting the overall department goals through management of operations including budget, labor management and planning. The Director is involved in troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and repair of vehicles, HVAC, and other related equipment.


  • Education and/or on-the-job experience relating to healthcare custodial regulations, general building and equipment repair and maintenance.
  • Must be able to read and write English sufficient to lead and manage department.
  • Basic computer skills in excel, word and outlook.
  • Excellent communication skills for dealing with staff and senior residents.
  • Recognize and promote high level of staff morale.
  • Able to solve problems and carry out decisions.
  • Possesses qualities of leadership, tact, patience, and adaptability.
  • Must have and maintain a valid Washington State Drivers License and inform your immediate supervisor and Human Resources (HR) of any convictions that occur after receipt of this job description.
  • Self-motivated, self directed and self disciplined.
  • Knowledge of WBSC programs, mission and purpose with a genuine interest in serving people.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Regular, predictable and dependable attendance.
  • Ability and maturity to prioritize use good judgment and tact.
  • Willingness to abide by WBSC policy and procedures.
  • Professional association certifications and memberships are preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $74,000.00 per year
