Expected Starting Salary Range: 26.42 - 32.71
SUBFUNCTION DEFINITION: To benchmark, develop, educate and improve the quality of established trainee and education programs by analyzing, re-designing, administering and consulting with leadership and staff on the program objectives and annual goals.
- Support a centralized, org-wide group specifically common to complex Project ECHO and Sicklecell Telementoring (STORM).
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Media Maintenance
Effectively demonstrates skills related to the use of a variety of software and information systems. Uses software applications to create tables, charts, and forms. Uses electronic format to maintain schedules for multiple trainee programs. Maintains electronic files and folders related to trainee educational activities and training requirements. Organize, maintain and assume responsibility for required databases.
Tracking
Ensure proper organization of records in the department. Works with outside vendors. Plans and oversees special events, programs, conferences, and symposiums. Cross trained in other general departmental support positions and can provide coverage for these areas.
Training
Organize, maintain and assume responsibility for trainee files. Compile data for reporting requirements. Learns details of the trainee's program, including compliance requirements, and assists with the compliance requirements. Tracks mandatory training and other employee/department requirements; may include license monitoring.
Efficiency
In collaboration with stakeholders, ensure programs are effectively evaluated and partner to develop data systems that identify, track, and analyze measures to assess effectiveness. Conduct assessments and perform knowledge and skills gap analysis to identify needs.
Accreditation
Initiate and develop changes to policies and practices at Cincinnati Children's to ensure adherence to accreditation guidelines. Participate in survey processes, annual program reviews, and department planning process as related to the implementation of process improvement of programs/activities.
Budget
Develop and manage a strategically-aligned budget. Participate in RFP process, and contract negotiation with vendors.
Communication
Openly communicate across departments, disciplines, and program committees. Keep key leadership, administrative staff and other stakeholders fully informed of projected and actual program developments of in a timely manner. Produce verbal and written communications using a variety of media tools.
Education
Develop and seek opportunities to integrate new technologies into educational programs. Serve as project consultant in the design and implementation of evaluation data. Utilize data to develop educational intervention, recommend areas for process/system improvement, and implement changes to reflect best practice.
Qualifications:
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 2 years of work experience in a related job discipline
- TAGME certified
