This is a full-time, remote position with frequent travel. We offer health benefits, autonomous scheduling, and a travel stipend. Our salary range is $45,000-$55,000 a year based on experience with the opportunity of yearly growth.

You will lead internal operations, report to the Board of Directors on progress, be the face of the organization to our members, and work with external partners for continued growth and development opportunities for USQ. This is a brief overview of frequent tasks you can expect to perform:

  • Seek out event bids from city partners, negotiate bid contracts, and attend conferences and several USQ events throughout the year.
  • Track strategic goals, financial status, and project progression.
  • Hands on involvement with day to day operations of the league across multiple departments.
  • Recruit, coordinate, and manage volunteers.
  • Attend frequent meetings with department managers, board members, and external partners.
  • Maintain a close relationship with members, volunteers, donors, and external partners.

This is a full-time position. Here are our minimum requirements for you to consider prior to filling out our application:

  • You have familiarity or experience in sports management, non-profit management, or other relevant industries.
  • You have the ability to work remotely and autonomously.
  • You can travel frequently with a car or flying.
  • You may be required to work on evenings, weekends, as well as long days for events.
  • If engaged for the role, as a full-time employee you will not be able to participate in official matches with a team, either as a player or a coach. Employees may not serve as a referee or other official during an official match.

Here is an idea of the characteristics that will help you thrive in this role:

  • Member-Focused: Our members are the reason USQ does what it can to spread the sport of Quadball and we strive to build an inclusive and diverse community.
  • Initiative: You are working by yourself much of the time. We need a director that can collaborate on a vision for the organization with the board and can execute that vision.
  • Leadership: You will manage situations that include providing direction to volunteers and support to members.
  • Attention to Detail: You play a crucial role in maintaining efficiency and preventing challenges in daily operations, event planning, and financial management.
  • Flexibility: Like most non-profit organizations, your work on weekends for events and conferences will help our organization succeed.

Does this sound like you?

We hope that you are now envisioning yourself as the new leader to our diverse community. There is nothing sweeter than seeing a new team successfully compete in their first USQ event as a direct result of your personal expertise and work ethic.
