Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Spanish, Math and English teacher to lead our 8 year old visiting granddaughter to success. The ideal candidate will be a positive college student with a strong desire to positively influence my granddaughter, exceptional leadership skills, and a passion for enjoying children. This role is responsible for tutoring our 8 year old, and transporting her to and from gymnastics from today thru August 20.

 

Responsibilities

  • Setting goals and objectives to motivate her to excel in Conversational Spanish, Math and English.
  • Drive her to gymnastics classes
  • Analyze financial data to ensure profit and loss goals are met, making adjustments as necessary.
  • Develop and manage budgets, ensuring the company is operating within its means.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, leveraging the company's strengths and resources.
  • Collaborate with project managers to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key clients and partners.Experience

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in leadership, management, and business development. A minimum of 10 years of experience in a senior leadership role is required, with a proven track record of driving growth and profitability. Experience in a related industry is a plus, as is experience with project management and process improvement. Strong sales skills and the ability to develop and execute strategic plans are also essential.

Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of experience of college
- Proven track record in tutoring children
- Demonstrated success in communicating with and challenging children
- Proficiency in Spanish, Math, English (reading)
- Strong communication skills in English and Spanish

 

Job Type: Part-time

 

Pay: $15.56 - $20.00 per hour

 

Expected hours: 4 – 8 per week

 

Schedule:

  • 4 hour shift

  • Long Beach, NY 11561 (Required)

Ability to Relocate:

  • Long Beach, NY 11561: Relocate before starting work (Preferred)
