Central Care Cancer Center is looking for a Human Resources Manager to lead HR operations across our Kansas and Missouri clinic locations. This position plays a critical role in partnering with clinic managers, physicians, senior leadership, and external contacts to facilitate human resources operations.
Responsibilities:
- Lead all HR functions, partnering closely with clinic managers, physicians, and senior leadership to drive HR operations and initiatives.
- Oversee employee benefits administration, including enrollments, changes, and leading open enrollment processes.
- Lead full-cycle recruitment efforts for positions across all Central Care locations, by sourcing top talent.
- Manage the onboarding process for new hires, facilitating orientations, and support management during resignations and terminations with care and professionalism.
- Prepare and present employment agreements, and extend formal job offers to candidates.
- Administer FMLA and Workers’ Compensation claims and maintain compliance with all relevant regulations.
- Keep the company handbook up-to-date and maintain alignment with federal, state, and local labor laws.
- Travel to clinic locations to provide hands-on HR support, acting as a key resource for clinic managers and staff.
- Collaborate with senior management to verify that HR strategies are aligned with our organizational goals.
- Manage performance evaluations and offer guidance on disciplinary actions when necessary.
- Foster a positive workplace culture by implementing employee engagement programs and recognition initiatives, as well as facilitating management training sessions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of progressive HR experience, preferably in a healthcare setting.
- Proficient in HRIS systems with strong knowledge of benefits administration and federal/state labor laws.
- Demonstrated leadership and strategic planning abilities.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving capabilities and a proactive approach to developing viable HR solutions.
- Flexibility to travel to various clinic locations as required.
