Human Resources Business Partner

Riverbend Community Mental Health, Inc., one of the largest providers of community-based behavioral health services in New Hampshire, is seeking an HR Business Partner to join our HR team. The HRBP position is responsible for aligning business objectives with employees and management in agency departments. This position forms partnerships across the HR function to deliver excellent customer service to management and employees that are in line with the objectives of the organization. The HRBP maintains an effective level of business literacy about business operations, financial position, short, mid and long-range plans, culture, and competition for talent.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate agency recruitment and retention efforts to ensure availability of appropriate staffing resources.
  • Serve as the System Administrator for the Learning Management System (LMS).
  • Facilitate benefit administration and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations; Participate in annual benefit selection process.
  • Facilitate employee wellness and self-care activities, Chair wellness committee.
  • Oversee Worker’s Compensation claims and related data management such as OSHA tracking and reporting; Serve as a liaison for the Safety Committee.
  • Serve as a Plan Administrator for the 403(b) Plan, organize related annual audits and compile information for annual 5500 submission.
  • Consults with and advises managers regarding performance concerns; Manages and resolves complex employee relations issues; Conducts effective, thorough and objective investigations as needed.
  • Collaborate with managers to monitor training records ensuring that staff complete all required trainings, renew licenses and/or certifications, and submit all necessary documentation for HR purposes.
  • Lead efforts in evaluation and implementation of human resources management information systems.
  • Maintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to HR management, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance; Holds high ethical standards relative to maintaining confidentiality and professional boundaries.
  • Oversee onboarding and off-boarding of employees to ensure that all necessary documentation and procedures have been followed; ensure a positive employee experience.

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience is required. Master’s degree in a related field is a plus.

  • Certification by SHRM or HRCI preferred.

  • At least five years’ HR experience is required. Experience in the health care industry is preferred.
