Job Description
Business Unit:Cubic DefenseCompany Details:SCOM Systems Engineering Intern - a future Systems and/or Integration & Test Engineer that contributes to the analysis, design, modification, and testing of secure communication programs dedicated to specific products and customer applications. This role operates under close supervision and guidance.Job Details:12-week Summer Experience!
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Requirements Definition: Collaborates on defining requirements for designated products and customer applications.
- Project Planning: Assists in the planning and organization of secure communication development projects.
- Engineering Group Coordination: Facilitates coordination among engineering groups, including Integration & Test, Software, Firmware, Electrical, Mechanical, etc.
- Test Activity Planning and Execution: Contributes to the planning and execution of program testing activities.
- Production Demonstrations: Supports the team in conducting production demonstrations.
- Proof of Concept Development: Creates mock-ups and proof-of-concept materials to validate design concepts.
Minimum Job Requirements
- Enrolled in a four-year college degree program in engineering or similar field, with a minimum of second-year standing.
- Demonstrates effective written and oral communication skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
- Capable of working in a lab environment and proficient in computer usage.
Cubic Pay Range:
$25 - $30/hr. + benefits.
The Cubic pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
